I suggest that
the only books that influence us
are those for which we are ready,
and which have gone a little farther
down our particular path
than we have yet got ourselves.

French Women Don't Get Fat by Mireille Guiliano
After completing this book I couldn't wait to visit France to see if my own experience was anything at all like that described in the book. I had heard about the three-course meals
laden with butter and cream and topped off with a glass or two of wine. Could the French women really enjoy this rich and "oh so French" food while staying healthy and trim?
What I discovered was they can and do indulge without the bulge. In fact during my short stay there I found myself sampling all the French delicacies while continually losing weight. It
became apparent to me that weight control is so much more than counting calories and carboyhydrates. It's about relationships...relationship with food, relationships with people, relationships with yourself and relationships with your environment.
This is a beautifully written book filled with wit & wisdom that will totally change how you think and feel about food.
Enjoy reading Mireille Guiliano's book and learn to savor the food and wine you love by incorporating the French culture's traditional wisdom into your culinary and life experiences.
